Leading the fight to stop the proposed Gross Reservoir Expansion

Environmental Activism for Your Community and Beyond

TEG (The Environmental Group of Coal Creek Canyon) was formed in 1990. Located in the foothills of the Front Range, spanning Jefferson, Gilpin and Boulder Counties, TEG works to protect the natural lands and resources of the region from environmental degradation. TEG has been working to prevent the Gross Dam expansion for over a decade and scaled up efforts in 2018 in anticipation of the final federal license for the project. To that end, TEG launched the “Stop Gross Dam Expansion - Save Boulder County” campaign. We have worked hard to build up our public support campaign in order to adequately support our local Boulder County Commissioners, and to empower them to intervene on this issue. We are currently focusing much of our energy and resources on raising funds to support the legal suits where the courts are our best shot at stopping this environmental disaster.

We welcome all of those who donate over $20 to the campaign as TEG Members.
